iPod touch iPod Touch and Find my iPhone

I have registered my iPod touch along with my iPhone and iPad. The Cloud finds the iPhone and the iPad, but not the iPod Touch, even when I am using it to do the search. It will send a message to the Touch, and can even remotely lock it, but it cannot LOCATE it.

Am I missing something, or can it only locate it if the iDevice has a 3G chip?

The iPod Touch locates itself with WiFi triangulation and known access point locations. It takes a few weeks for Apple to update this database to include your network and location.
