IPod Touch and IPhone data transfer

So I just got an IPhone 4 and am very excited about it. However, I also own an Ipod Touch which I have owned for several months. I have many games and apps with save data on them. I was sad to discover that my save data didn't transfer over when I synced my new IPhone. I was wondering if there is any way to get this data because I plan to sell my IPod Touch here pretty soon.

I dont think you can restore an ipod touch backup to an iphone.
You'll have to start all over again probably.
