I understand that MS Office is most folk's default application for spreadsheets and word processing, but it seems strange to me that Apple has built in read capability on the Touch for Office and not for its own iWorks '08 products. Is this an oversight by Apple that will be corrected in future updates, or should we read this as a damning judgement by Apple on its own software?

It's the design of the pages documents (I'm not too sure about keynote and numbers) They're saved as packages, and so, from what I understand, they don't like being emailed unless the email zips them first. and the iPod and iPhone can't unzip.
