Hi,
Does anyone know if the ipod touch will fit into the JBL onstage speaker (the doughnut shaped one) I've tried to measure it (not that easy) and it seems tight?
Thanks
Jo

It depends, which one are you talking about, they have updated the types several times. The easiest way to tell is to tell us where the dock connector area is located and what type of donut? Is it the donut that has basically a full open circle in the middle and the dock connector is part of the donut (like the below picture)?

Or is it like this picture (below)?

Or is it like this one where the donut is enclosed?

Which is it most like?

If it is the either of the second two of those options, the dock connector that came with your iPod touch will be able to be used on it, but if it is the first one (which I have), then it will fit, but none of the adapters that came with the speakers will work for it, but it will fit, you will just have a little gap behind the iPod. I solved this problem by using some small cardboard, styrofoam and tape to fill in the gap (I'll post some pics of it later hopefully).

it fits

i tried mine in best buy on like a million of the jbl ones just like the ones in those pictures....it fits... the iPodTouch is the same width as the iPod Video prety much

Thanks everyone i have managed to find someone at work with one and it fits, the speakers were the first ones out (normal JBL Onstage.)
