I have searched the site and I have read that the ipod touch can read PDF's, but I heard that it crashes on large PDFs. I am considering on getting a touch if it can read large PDF's reliably, has there been any new upgrades in the PDF app for the touch or any new hacks? Also, I am aware that Safari can read them but only online, I am looking for an offline solution. Can you guys share your experiences with your touch and PDF's?

There's a program called filemarkmaker.app which converts pdf's to bookmarks which you can view on your ipod in safari.
I was looking forward to reading the Heroes web comics online because they come in PDF, but alas, they are too big for the touch.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that filemarkmaker would change the fact that the PDF is too big.
