So, the UK iPhone has been announced and with it, apple have a deal with the cloud to offer free wifi. I saw the report said that the deal is between apple and the cloud, not O2 and the cloud. So, what are the chances that when the iPod touches FINALLY get into our cold clammy hands, that we'll also be able to use the cloud hotspots?

Rampant speculation on a postcard please ;)

Personally I think not a chance... Its a way to deperately make the plans seem anything other than a blatent rip off... which they are

It wont take too long to hack it though I hope, I've heard DS's get free access, which is based off their MAC addresses. Shouldn't be too hard to break once the touch has been jailbroked

I don't think its going to happen it would be great if it did though. Having said that I am positive it woudnt take long to be hacked to do something similar
