iPod touch iPod Touch Battery Problems

Hello macrumors,
I am experiencing difficulties on my iPod Touch 4G 8GB on iOS 5.0.1 jailbroken. My battery is decreasing quick. Usually my iPod lasts about 2 days, but now it lasts like 6 hours. I cannot turn my Wi-Fi off since I get many messages and e-mails that if I do, then I will have problems. What should I do?
