iPod touch iPod touch battery status?

Is there a thing like task manager for seeing which program drains the battery? I charged the iPod overnight, but for some reason the battery went to red in only a few hours.. (prob because of searching Wi-Fi) I'm pretty sure it will be available for jailbreak but it's 4.1 so... Is there an app for this in the app store?

I don't think such an app exists at all. Without being jailbroken or having a Mac and lots of know-how.

Well what apps are available jailbroken? I frequently use Facebook, and is Skype a battery drainer? I don't really use it everyday, but it's installed.

If you're jailbroken install OpenSSH and top from Cydia, then SSH into your iPod and run the top command. The output is a basic text base Activity Monitor or Task Manager.
