iPod touch iPod touch behaving sporadically when plugged in

What charger are you using for it? I had some issues with charging the newer iPod Touch models (3GS based and 4th generation) with the charger that came with my iPhone 3G.
The problem with mine was sloooow charging and the battery indicator flickering back and forth along with repeated charger connect sounds.
Using the more powerful charger that came with my iPad, no problems since then.

Yeah I to am experiencing the same problem, when I use my wall charger ( a charger that I bought earlier this year) and charge my iPod touch 1gen 3.1.3 OS jailbroken the screen flicker and doent charge my iPod, it only started doing this just recently befoe the charger used to work perfectly- the screen didn't flicker and the charge used to charge but now it doesn't.
