Is the Ipod touch being discontinued. I do not need a phone and the Ipad is too big, it is not pocket sized.

It was only updated last month so I wouldn't think it's in danger of being phased out just yet.

I have just purchased the NEW 6th generation iPod Touch and boy it is fast, the 6th generation has the A8 chip inside and is really fast compared to my last one.
