Check out this pic.

In the big window, we clearly have an iPod.

However in the first thumbnail, we have a little green icon (phone icon?) AND what looks like a camera icon.

If he was editing the first thumbnail in the big screen, then we would have all the icons there, but in the big screen we don't have the green icon, so that leads me to conclude that the camera icon MIGHT NOT be the remote icon, but indeed a camera icon.

This supports the production fail theory

EDIT: The green* icon is almost definately the CHAT icon. CHAT in iPod touch anybody?

That thumbnail might just be a part of an iPhone home screen, as the green icon is the Messages app. It might be just a glitch, as I don't think the iPod touch will ever get the Messages app.

I wouldn't get too excited about this. The large screen is supposed to be a larger view of the thumbnail on the right - but the apps do not match up (i.e. this is a mockup)

edit: just tried this out - the large screen and the thumbnail change in real time...

good pick-up no matter what by the OP...

I don't get your logic. If it were an iPhone the phone icon would be present, and it would have an iPod icon (as opposed to seperate music and video icons).

I never said it was an iPhone. That was just a demo. It might've been glitched. I understand that it might justify a camera on the touch, but there's no reason for it to have a Messages app (or chat as you call it) if it's not an iPhone.

I'm guessing it was just standard pics that were Photoshopped together to make the slide. I really doubt it was anything more than that.

Just like how the dock is on all of the other homescreens to the right, yes?

Kinda hard to show the default dock configuration without a dock, eh?

zomg Schiller left a grease smudge on his phone!!1!1one!!! Front-facing camera now, despite the fact that they didn't announce it!!!!1!!eleven!! <-- yeah, that worked well

Hmmm do you reckon Steve Jobs, microscopically examining the most minuscule detail of his products under an electron microscope, would let that pass? Especially on his debut with a new liver?

Quote from the link.

The designers at Apple worked on hundreds of versions of the thumbscoop — even examining them under an electron microscope — to get it right.

Obviously you haven't used iTunes 9 with 3.1 software.

I don't understand why you are taking a mere picture personally. I never claimed that "zomg we are getting a new ipod touch with a new camera omg", indeed I am not of that opinion.
