iPod touch iPod Touch Can't Download Cydia

OK I have an ipod touch 4th gen but when I go

I get this error writen in red it says
not supported on your device. please try here for an alternate jailbreak
It wants to tell me if I want jailbreak my ipod. I don't want to jailbreak my ipod becouse it messes up the software. dose any body know If I could Get Cydia On My iPod Wtihout a jailbreak?

You must jailbreak to get Cydia. Cydia is only on jailbroken iPods.
