Hi, on my new itouch my coverflow option wont even show. None of my music is downloaded from itunes (might be the reason?), but when i turn it horizontal in the music list screen, it wont change. After i turn it back vertically, none of he buttons (for example, play lists, songs, albums...) will work now, only the home screen button. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've tried that, actually i set it back to factory settings and put all my songs back on, and it still wont work. Does every one of my artists need a album picture? because only about half of mine do.

Not all of your songs need album artwork, I know that from personal experience. But what makes this matter really frustrating now (in my eyes at least) is that you said you have restored it. Maybe some other people with far more knowledge regarding the inner workings of the iPod touch can come on and help you. Sorry for my inability to help.

No, dont worry about it, thanks for the help!
ill prolly take it to apple and ask them.

same problem

I have exactly the same problem, does any one have any solutions

(restored back to factory settings etc)

:-(

Are you holding it so the screen is parallel with a wall???
Dumb question....but if its on a table and its horizontal it wont work.
:p Dumb question, just a thought >______>

Thanks CVV1

I too had this problem, and didnt realise that i had to hold it sideways since all the other music screens are oriented the other way!.

This is my first apple product, and while i'm impressed by the device, they seem to think it's so intuitive it doesnt need a manual??

There is a manual; over 90 pages long. It's available on the Apple website.
