iPod touch IPod Touch Covers

After transferring several albums to my IPod Touch i dragged and dropped the covers into the info.
They appear fine when using the IPod side ways to scroll through the album covers, but when looking at the album listing a-z all the covers are incorrect.
Anyone know what im doing wrong?
