So I have updated my iPod touch to iOS5.1 but when I go to settings general-usage but thare is no battery usage features apple has just remeved that feature has any won know to turn it on without a jailbreak? So please help!

No official iPod touch firmware has ever offered a numeric battery meter. You would always have to have used some unofficial means to activate such a meter.

Prior to upgrading, was your iPod touch perhaps using SBSettings? It allowed you to turn on the numeric battery meter, even on iOS devices which didn't officially support it.

After upgrading to iOS 5.1, the jailbreak would have been removed -- and most likely the tweaks from SBSettings might have been removed along with it.
