iPod Touch ear buds.

Will the volume / song control / earbud work, even if it is first gen. If not it would be very lame. :]

I don't think so. It says on Apple's site (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB770?mco=MTcyODA3NQ) that "The remote and mic are supported only by iPod nano (4th generation), iPod classic (120GB), and iPod touch (2nd generation)".

I'm not sure why this is, but I'm disappointed as well. Would've liked to be able to change the volume/song without having to take the iPod out of my pocket every time.
