i have ipod nano
i know little about this

want to get 7 year old daughter ipod for her bday.
thinking of getting the ipod touch
but what generation?
I am looking to buy used to keep $ down
what memory 8gb good?
she will use to listent o music and play games im sure
do they all come with camera?
what cost ive seen all over board
4th generation = $170 to high?
looking to keep under $100.

You'd certainly want to get a 4th generation.

No idea of the cost. Probably over your $100 budget though.

It is the only one with a camera, all be it a crappy one.

For a 7 yr old 8gb is probably enough.
 
Take my advice, Don't get her one. It will turn her into a mindless zombie...

My 7 yr old has had one for the last 2 years or so. Tuesday was the last straw when I caught her 2 hours after I tucked her into bed trying to hide it from me when I came upstairs, she'd been watching netflix on it.

It becomes so easy to use it as a baby sitter. I honestly wish I had never gave it to her. Now I'm stuck with the issue of her grandparents are used to texting and face timing her and I have hear about why they cant talk to her now.
