Hi my lil bro had s ipod touch(not jailbroken) with software version 2.2 he has it synced to his PC but want movies that i have stored on my mac. can i load movies onto his touch without having to delete all the contents on his ipod?

his ipod is probably formatted for windows, and will not work on the mac. If you plug it in, it will probably ask to format it for OS X. This option would erase everything on it, and make it unusable on windows or other devices (like a Ps3).

If he plugged it back into windows after formatting it for mac, Windows would ask to format it again.

Yes you can. The iPod touch is not formatted. It works with mac and windows. You just have to drag and drop the movies you want onto his iPod
