I just installed the new version of iTunes yesterday and have had problems whenever I try to sync my my iPod Touch with iTunes. iTunes just freezes. My iPod works fine, but iTunes is the problem. I'm thinking it's because I don't have the new firmware, which is another problem since I can't get it. I know I'm not the only one experiencing this problem and I'm usually able to solve these problems on my own. If anybody can help that would be greatly appreciated.

Almost nobody can get the 2.0 update for the ipod right now as their servers are getting swamped. I tried syncing my 1.1.4 ipod with itunes 7.7 and had no issues so unfortunately I can't help you there. I would probably wait until tomorrow or sunday when things should calm down.
