Ive just purchased Scrabble for my iPad :) We are looking to install 'Tile Rack' on my gen 1 ipod touch so my girlfriend can join in our scrabble games :)

Unfortunatly the app wants version 3.0 of the software to install, I currently only have 2.2.1. Ill admit, since I got my iPhone my touch has been neglected.

iTunes says it is up to date, however reading online version 3.0 is... was available. I fear since 4.0 was released 3.0 can no longer be downloaded.

Is this the case? am I screwed? :) If I am I think its very unfair, if you miss the upgrade window you are stuck.

Cheers

Site with downloads for ALL versions of iPods and iPhones. Just go to the bottom drop-down menu, and select the iPod Touch 1G firmware update you wish to install.

Once it has downloaded. Save it to your desktop, open iTunes, then option + click to choose the firmware you want to upgrade to.

Thanks for the help! unfortunatly I didnt realise the G1 doesnt have a bluetooth chip :(
