The title says it all, folks. See pics below. I wiped the screen extra well before taking these pics - there is little to no dust on the screen as of now. It doesn't look as bad in person to be honest...but as you rotate the iPod touch more stuck pixels become apparent. For a device that costs $511.64 tax in, I think the screen should be a bit better. You lose some of the detail when compressing the pics so much, but I think the problem is still obvious.

man you payed $511.64 ??do you live in canada or somethin?? if not ,, you got ripped!

(sorry this post has nothing to do with answering your question :)

Ok, I stretched the truth a little. But I live in the highest taxed province (around 14%) in Canada.

The MSRP was $449.99, plus tax makes around $510. I had $130 dollars in gift cards at the big box store which I purchased it at. This was the absolute cheapest way to get it where I live. I could have driven down to the US but then if there's a problem with it...which there obviously is....I'd be in trouble.

Nice call.

With a screen as bad as this one...I don't see how I will ever get a flawless iPod touch! Oh well, it's worth a try. As soon as Future Shop gets more I'll try again...

I'd think if you bought one from the Apple website now, it would be fine.

Maybe so but if I buy from there I will have to pay over 500$ since they (for obvious reasons) won't take my gift card.

Hey Queshy, try this link: Fixing Stuck Pixels

I've heard some people say it works and others say it doesn't, but it's worth a shot. I've been meaning to try it on my own iPod touch but it's not getting back to me until later today. Let me know if it helps.

Thanks for the link. I've actually already tried that, though, letting it run for quite some time with no success :(

I have the exact same problem with my week 37. I have a note from a genius that says exchange this because of stuck pixels even if it's after the 14 day period. I'm gonna wait a few weeks and get like a week 42 or something.

I returned mine to Applecare for the stuck pixels and apparently it wasn't bad enough for them to try and fix it. I'm going to go back to the Apple Store and give them hell until I can get a new unit.
