How goes the iPod touch hacking to include the sort of hacked native apps people are writing for iPhone? I won't hack or unlock my iPhone for fear of bricking it, but I'm thinking about picking up an 8GB touch for hacking.

Last we heard in the iPhone world, the touch, although running the same OS, was a it tougher to hack.
