Fantastic news! My 5th iPod touch is now broken! After going through 4 other units with screen and hissing issues, (including the one I have right now... just waiting for a new shipment) my current iPod touch is no longer recognized by my Mac. How wonderful! Christ I am tired of this crap.

which week is yours? try to get a week 38 or later when you get it replaced again, the QC has gone up a lot on those models.

I went through 1 week 37 and now I'm having problem with a week 38 touch. Perhaps 3rd time is the charm for me...

U should try and order one off apple.com. Me and all of my friends ordered one off apple.com and they all work great!

There are 2 reasons why I went through BB. 1) It was immediately available. Walk in and walk out. 2) I had gift cards that I wanted to use for a while.

I was going to order one from Bestbuy as well. But I had problems when doing that with my first iPod so I just figured I'd go straight through apple online. It paid off =)

your FIFTH?

sorry i gotta claim user error on this:D

No, you're right. I went over to Taiwan and snuck into the factory and somehow screwed up the displays of each unit that I somehow knew I'd get... Because I knew I'd want to return 4 of them.

Yea, I am waiting until around Nov to buy one (if they are any available lol). The screen issue and hissing worries me. Am just going to wait until they start putting good screens in ALL touches.

i believe him. i mean it seems ALL of us have had at least 1. although the only touch i have ever seen in my own. :( such rare little things.

I agree...i have to call BS here.this is what happens when you are dealing with a lot of kids. No effing way you got 5 bad units. No way in hell

Go ahead and call whatever the hell you want. If I felt that I needed your approval, I'd scan all my refund and exchange receipts... but I don't. Feel free to call the Apple Store in Chandler, Arizona and verify my story with any of the managers: Bob, Mark, or Stan. Additionally, please grow the hell up.

I'd like one but I'm holding off till at least Xmas, the picture will be clearer then
