iPod touch Ipod Touch headset glitch

I'm having a problem with my Ipod Touch headset connection. I'm able to hear from only the left ear set. I've tried numerous headsets and have the same problem with each one, which tells me the problem is my Ipod Touch. Any suggestions on a fix?
