It is very high but also it is the type of website where someone with an iPhone would go. I would be interested in the numbers for other sites such as for example the BBC. But still go to see that of all the gadget geeks out there the iPhone reins supreme.
 
Yeah, it's a site where iPhone owners are likely to go, but where are the N95, PSP, DS, windows mobile, palm etc etc.

I think this says more about iPhone useability than market share of mobile browsing capable devices. There's no way that 95.8% of engadget readers with mobile internet devices have iPhones. It means that most mobile internet capable devices don't get used for internet.

I agree. With a crappy mobile browser sites like engadget can be a PITA to visit. Most of the problem is rendering the scripts that run the ads
