Ipod touch/iphone plugging into a wall outlet

what is better?

Buying a simply usb --> wall outlet converter (can it work with any usb including the touch and iphone?)

Or buying the special ipod or iphone wall chargers..where the actual wall plug connects to the apple device??

I tried searching on amazon and some are like $1.40..not sure if they are cheap or what.

I, personally, would buy an Apple branded charger. Yes, they're more expensive, but you know they won't damage your device (or void the warranty).

I remember the good ol' days when iPods came with wall chargers haha.

Yeah I think the Apple wall charger would be best.

apple charges $30 for the wall outlet for the touch....thats alot for a charger
