So I'm not sure if this is out in the ether or not but I was thinking about it today how the iPod touch is basically tanking in sales by the iPhone.

So perhaps this new iPhone5C is a replacement for the iPod touch. Same price point as the iPod Touch, no contract obviously. The ability to buy cellular data like the iPad does and possibility bring it to a carrier to get a phone contract etc.

Also you could get the phone free if you pick it up with a contract either at launch or later down the line.

I'm sure someone said this before and this thread is useless but I figured i'd blab :)

Well I can't argue with that!
