Ipod touch is selling at least 10 dollars cheaper on amazon.com.
So, why in the world you people ordering from apple.com?

Are you all really just have extra cash to throw it away?

Amazon's estimates for free delivery are ridiculous. Any money you save on their price you'll have to make up getting next day or 2nd day shipping. And even then, I guarantee Apple's free shipping will STILL beat Amazon's shipping.

prime - 2 day and via UPS or on Saturday via FedEX.. problem is dunno when it will ship, though I don't think it truly is November. I can save ~$45 total on a 64GB on discount and tax over Best Buy... but I want it ASAP lol. So I will be waiting for Best Buy.

Amazon says my delivery estimate is between the 16-23, and they're usually pretty spot-on when it comes to these things. I get prime free with my .edu account, so that combined with no tax+cheaper price+2 day shipping kind of sold me on going with them. I'm really not taking my Ipod Touch anywhere until I can get a case for it anyway, and since the good case-makers are on pre-order only right now, I don't see the point in getting it early.

Amazon uses a number of shipping companies. Rarely USPS but on occasion a company named OnTrac (west coast only).
