I see the Touch is now on sale at BB,Target, and Amazon. So, I am guessing we are getting close. Based on previous years when the iPods went on sale when did the new ones come out?

What do you mean by the iPT is now on sale? They have a discounted price? They've had a discounted price for quite a while.I see the Touch is now on sale at BB,Target, and Amazon. Hmm I just noticed it now. I checked Amazon like a week ago and I didn't see they were discounted.
Oh well no new iPods I guess.

I still think that the new iPods will be coming sometime soon. End of September at the latest.
