I'm really torn between jailbreaking my ipod touch. i have a few questions on my mind.

Q1: If I jailbreak, will i still be able to sync my ipod before with itunes for songs/videos/apps?

Q2: Will I be able to put app store apps onto the ipod by syncing?

Q3: Is it safe? will my ipod be less secure than before or that wont change?

Q4: Will I get the ugly (imho) pineapple boot up logo?

Thanks!

Q1: If I jailbreak, will i still be able to sync my ipod before with itunes for songs/videos/apps?

of course you will, jailbreaking will not effect the ipod syncing

Q2: Will I be able to put app store apps onto the ipod by syncing?

again yep the ipod will work as a normal iPod would

Q3: Is it safe? will my ipod be less secure than before or that wont change?

yes it's safe theres no drop in security

Q4: Will I get the ugly (imho) pineapple boot up logo?

this is optional, there is a tick box to remove this from being built into the firmware.

if you have a mac I have put together a guide here: http://guides.macrumors.com/Pwn_your_iPod_Touch_with_Pwnage_Tool if its of any help
