iPod touch Ipod Touch Keep disconnecting from itunes.

Hey guy,

I am using winxp, and everytime I connect my ipod it sync's but then while I am copying song over it disconnects and then reconnects, making it impossible to copy songs over. I know its connected becasue the touch is charging.

I connected it to my wifes computer and it works with no problem at all. ( she is running winxp as well.)

I don't know what could be causing this issue, if anyone could help that would be great.
