I received a new Ipod touch 8gig for Xmas and uptaded itunes to 8.xx. touch synched no porblem and then I tried to update the software to 2.2. It has been in a continous lock ever since . Screen says verifiing software. I have tired several things but no avail. If I unplug the touch and reconnect it states that the touch is in recovery mode. It recovers the software but will not go past the verifiy software stage. Any suggestions?
