Hey, MacRumors members. First post :)

So I'm looking for any advice towards my 2G iPod Touch issue. Well, here's the problem. My left headphone receives no output from the touch unless I add a little resistance by pushing it forward. The right one works perfectly fine. Any way to fix this? My warranty is over, so there's no point in contacting any apple employee. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

PS: I'm good with electronics and comfortable with repairing it myself. I've worked on PSPs and computers in the past and I think I could handle an ipod. If anyone can tell me how to repair the headphone jack myself, that would be great!

Same thing happened to me with my zune, except the music was quiet and fuzzy. If the switching headphones doesnt work you can just use this
