Hi guys, I just bought an IPod Touch from my local school store for 279 dollars. I heard that the Part number MA623LL/A has bad screens. Is this true and should I get a different model? I'd like to know before I open this baby so if I need to return it I won't get a restocking fee.

Thanks

does not have bad screens, you will just need to pay $20 for the upgrade apps-- that's why it was $20 cheaper

updates for ipod

Hey,

how do it get the updates for this particular ipod so that the screen is fine?

thanks,

updates DO NOT help the screen, it is just a problem that some ipods have, you have to return it

There are no updates that can help the screen, those updates are software updates that patch bugs and the sort, an update that would help the screen would be a hardware update, which simply is not done.

My friend bought a Touch with the same model number in NY last week. Refurbished, so no bad screen..
