SO im trying to connect my Ipod Touch to my Wifi connection and my MAC address on my ipod is only numbers. i thought it had to be numbers and letters? i found it under my about section in the system prefs in the about section where it says Wi-Fi Address

It should be alphanumeric, listed under "Wi-Fi Address" and starting with 00:25:4B, which identifies it as an Apple device.

so i go to settings, general, about, Wi-Fi Address and it starts with 00:24:36
and its all numeric

That's an Apple MAC address as well. It's hexadecimal. It need not be alphanumeric.

so it is valid, so then when i connect it to my router (i put the mac address in the router so it will allow the connection) and put in my password, it fails to connect. and ideas why?
