I have a new ipod touch and watched a movie on it. This was a movie I already owned and my daughter put it in the library. the quality was pretty good but in some places the pixels were showing. How do I put other movies I either own or rent on the touch with the best visual quality?

Also, if I load other applications,e.g. Pandora, Showtime, etc. How do I link to the net to make them work?

Well I don't know about the app thing you're talking about...
But for videos off of iTunes I believe you CANNOT change the quality.
I too have gotten pixels; I was watching House MD and a few pixels came up for a few seconds and then disappeared.
If it's not off of iTunes you can reconvert it for the iPod with different quality using Jodix video converter, it's free.
