iPod touch ipod touch (new) can't play wolfenstein 3d classic?

so i have a brand new ipod touch.

i bought the wolfenstein 3d classic on the app store. it downloaded to my itunes.

i have it in my applications in itunes. when i sync the ipod, i get the app logo and click on it.

it shows "wolfenstein 3d" and the "id classic" logos.

then it goes right back to the home screen.

i can't seem to be able to play the game!

i should mention that i use this same ipod touch for app development purchases...

how can i get the game so that i can actually play it!?
