Ipod Touch new generation with Macbook Student Promo?

I am planning to buy Macbook (Black with student promotion. I just read on website that the new Ipod models are not included in the promo...but I was in store earlier today and the guy told me that you can get the new Ipod Touch version for the promotion??? Any idea??

You can't. My friend works at a Apple Store and I also called. They said , nope. Now if you are in a store and he/she said that then buy it right then. When you check out they will catch their mistake or their manager will at sometime. Apple made it a point of listing the model numbers eligible and the new ones aren't on there.
