iPod touch Ipod touch no touch????

Well my ipod had decided to randomly stop picking up touch....
but i recently bought another and it still doesnt pick up touch.

home button works on the new ipod. Ive tryed dfu mode. jailbreaking and restoring etc. nothing happens...

would buying another digitizer fix this???
or is it a faulty board>

I think the OP was referring his old one broke and he replaced it with a new one.
In this case call apple or bring it into an apple store.

Replace the digitizer once. but i think it may have been the wrong one.
