iPod touch iPod Touch not in stores (Canada) until October 12! urg...

Well, this really stinks, just checking out the futureshop website, and they pretty much confirmed that us Canadians won't see the touches until the 12th

this really sucks, seeing as i put my money away immediatly after the conference, and have been scouring the forums since they were reported in apple stores, looking for anyone spotting it in canada.

Why are you checking futureshop for first shipments, and not Apple stores? In the other thread I heard that units are coming on the 28th?

I'm checking the futureshop site because there are no apple stores anywhere near where i live, but there is a futureshop only an hour away. We do have a Wal Mart though.

well, i can dream i guess.
