iPod touch iPod touch not recognized by computer

When I plug in my iPod touch (2G, not hacked) it's not recognized by iTunes, or anything. It show that it's charging, but I can't get my computer to recognize it. Why is this happening?

I think this is the right link. If I rmember correctly I reinstalled itunes and that did the trick.

do u have mcafee ? If so then it's probaly being blocked . Just unblock it and your to go. Hold on do u have win xp ?

Their sig says they have a MacBook Pro so I'd guess they're using OS X.

Thanks guys; I don't know what was wrong with it, I just reinstalled iTunes and it worked. Weird :/
