To restate: my computer died--now have a new one--but the old one died before I synched to my ipod touch. It seems the only option itunes gives is "Do you want to synch with this new library? If so, all files on your ipod touch will be deleted, including downloads."
That, despite quotes, is a paraphrase.
And the answer is, well, no. I want to save the music i downloaded and have on the ipod that I hadn't yet synched to my computer (this new library)--to say, I don't want to sych with this new library, I want to keep acting like it was my old library.
Am I missing some really obvious easy step, or am I faced with the undoable?
Is there a way around this?
