Have 3rd gen Ipod touch and now will not turn on. Water may have got inside. When placed on charger all it does is get really hot on the bottom left of the ipod. Will not boot up. I have taken it apart and do not see any water or soda in it. Any suggestions?

I'm not the most technical person here, just a warning. If I were you, I'd take it to the Apple Store and get it replaced. Sounds like something got in and messed up the insides (maybe something more than water. Did you drop it in anything?). If you did drop it, maybe a part of the hardware got damaged. That happened to me, and it messed up the touch screen. Hope this helps, and welcome to MacRumors :)
