I have an issue with my girlfriends rebate for the 8gig iPod touch and I wanted some input on what to do. To receive the rebate you need to purchase both a new mac and iPod touch on the same receipt using a student discount. She purchased the two items and told the cashier at the apple store that she is a student and is eligible for the rebate, but the cashier forgot to throw the discount on the purchase. So she went back into the apple store and the cashier gave her the credit for the student discount. The problem is she does not have a receipt for the macbook, iPod, and student discount on all one receipt. So when she goes to enter the rebate information it says that her receipt is not eligible. What do you think she should do to get the situation remedied.

Go back to the store with the original receipts and products, and get them to give you everything on one receipt. Talk with the manager, as he/she would probably understand better. :)
