iPod touch IPod touch reference in today's keynote?

Did anyone catch what was said about the iPod Touch today in the keynote?. I think it was in the part about iOS8 and right as he said it my video stream stuttered. Also, since there's no new iPod announcement and the iPodT5 is still being sold, does it stand a better chance nite of being updated to iOS9?
