iPod touch Ipod touch restoring question

My gf currently has a 4th gen 8gig iPod which is completely full so we wanna buy her a 32gig

The question is that she has a game called smurf village in which she doesn't wanna restart over

So if we backup the iPod 8gig and then restore the backup on the 32gig will she get ak her saved game or will she need to start over???

Hi,

I have a related issue, and found some help here:

It appears that the Smurf Village game saves the game-level and related information in different places (locally or on the Cloud) depending on what model of iPhone or iPod you have.

No!!

I would not suggest resoring it, you would loose the game data...When you save a copy of it. All it saves is system stuff and icon positions and so on. No game data is saved.
