iPod touch iPod touch restoring/Updating

Hi guys, I have an iPod touch 4G running iOS 4.3 I tried downloading 4.3.5 through itunes, but since my internet connection aint that good, the download does not finish. So I downloaded the iOS through iClarify. Now if I restore with the iOS I downloaded through iClarify, by using shift + restore on windows it will erase all my data, won't it? Could i make itunes update the iPod touch using the iClarify iOS? Thanks!

Shift + restore will restore it and it will erase all app data. Once the restore is done, you can sync everything back but the app data won't sync back because app data isn't backed up
