iPod touch iPod Touch Safari homepage

Just a quick question to put out there cause it's driving me crazy!...

Usually Safari goes back to the last page you visited the next time you launch it but I swear that a website I haven't been to (at least in months) pops up the odd time.
Could that be a Safari glitch (or a cleaver cookie from the website)?

What happens if you manually go into Settings->Safari, and clear the history, the cache, and cookies? Open a page, then put the device to sleep, wake it up again, then re-open Safari.
