iPod touch iPod touch Safari Problems

Has anyone had problems with the Safari web browser unexpectedly crashing? I will be using it and after about 3 different web pages it completely crashes and my iPod restarts.It is really annoying seeing as i cant do anything with it. It is also only 4 days old so i am taking it back tomorrow for a new one.

Yes, Safari does tend to crash a little.

Possibly if you reboot your iPod touch it may clear up the repeated crashes. I haven't been able to pinpoint what causes crashes.

mine is 1 day old and safari closes down occasionally and also the music sometimess stops when browesing safari... it is 1.1.2???
can anyone help?

yes it is using 1.1.2

this seems to be a result of loading really large images or pages with align of graphics or data.

I assumed it was some sortnof buffer overflow problem. Like you said it happens when you open three pages right? Is that at the same time? Or consecutively?

I find rebooting the iPod Touch helps when the problem crops up.
