is there something I can buy that will remove the scratches from the metal on the back of my Ipod touch
 
depends on how deep they are. if they are tiny, try applesauce ipod polish, heard that works pretty well.
 
I use iCleaner. It's always worked pretty well for me. Nothing amazing; there'll still be scratches, but the mirrored finish will be restored.
